Aida Gatfield obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1989 and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the same institution in 1991, where she was awarded the Gold Medal in Biology. In the interim she received a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 1999 and was called to the bar in 2001. She practised labour and employment law in London, Ontario.

Aida Gatfield provides workplace investigation and consultation services to organizations with respect to alleged breaches of employment legislation and internal workplace policies.

These include:

• Alleged breaches of the Human Rights Code
• Alleged breaches of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Alleged breaches of internal workplace policies, including complaints alleging harassment, discrimination and bullying in the workplace.

Aida Gatfield also provides training to organizations in relation to human rights, harassment, conduct of workplace investigations and other issues in the workplace. Aida works with organizations to ensure that the training is customized to their specific needs and assists the workplace parties in understanding their roles and responsibilities under the applicable policies and legislation.
